The idea

Skilling profitability in RuneScape is a moving target. The margin on a method is the gap between what the inputs cost and what the output sells for, and both sides of that sum change as the Grand Exchange moves. A method that was worth training yesterday can be a loss today, and the only way to know is to price it up again.

RuneProfit does that arithmetic continuously. It reads current Grand Exchange prices and presents the resulting profit for each method, across both the RuneScape 3 and Old School exchanges, so the comparison is already made by the time you look at it.

It also filters by what you can actually do. Look up your account on the hiscores and RuneProfit narrows the list to the methods your levels allow, which turns a table of everything in the game into a shortlist of what is worth training tonight.

How to use it

1. Create an account and start your free trial.
2. Choose the game you play — RuneScape 3 or Old School.
3. Look up your account on the hiscores to filter methods to your levels.
4. Browse the skilling methods and read the current profit figures.
5. Check back before a long session — prices move, so the ranking moves with them.

Nothing to install and no plugin to configure. RuneProfit runs in the browser, on a phone as readily as on a desktop.

Pricing

Every new account begins with a three-day free trial. Three days is enough to price up the methods you actually train and see whether the tool pays for itself before committing to anything.

After the trial, access continues on a subscription. Every plan carries the same features — the only difference is how far ahead you pay, and longer terms cost less per month. Prices are in pounds sterling.

Plans are chosen inside RuneProfit once you have an account. Each checkout is generated for your own account, so there is no direct link to an individual plan from here.

How the free trial works

Starting a plan takes card details up front. The first three days are free: cancel within them and you are not charged anything. If you do not cancel, the subscription begins automatically when the trial ends and the first payment is taken then. After that you can cancel at any point, and you keep access until the period you have already paid for runs out.
